Our Commitment to Preventing Modern Slavery

At R & L Slaughter, we believe that responsible business means treating people fairly, with dignity and respect, throughout our business and our supply chain.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms, including slavery, servitude, forced labour and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically, transparently and with integrity, and to taking appropriate steps to prevent these practices from taking place within our business or supply chain.

Our Modern Slavery Policy sets out the measures we have in place to identify and address potential risks. This includes due diligence and vetting of our suppliers, reviewing our employment practices and encouraging the reporting of concerns, with appropriate protection for those who raise them.

We expect the same high standards from the businesses we work with. Our suppliers are required to take steps to prevent modern slavery within their own organisations and supply chains, and we will not knowingly support or work with any business involved in slavery or human trafficking.

We recognise that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility. We will continue to review our practices, strengthen our controls and work with our suppliers to promote ethical and responsible standards throughout our supply chain.
